An antique Ayutthaya style Enlightenment Buddha, finely cast in bronze and now professionally mounted on a minimalist stand that frames the figure as a contemplative object of art.
The Buddha is seated cross‑legged with the right hand extended to touch the earth and the left resting, palm upward, in his lap—an iconic depiction of the Bhumisparsa, or “Calling the Earth to Witness", mudra that commemorates the moment of Enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.
The face is calm and introspective, with downcast eyes, softly arched brows and a gently composed mouth that together express deep inner stillness. Characteristic Ayutthaya features include the flame‑shaped ushnisha rising from the tight curls of the hair and the elongated earlobes that recall the Buddha’s princely past, now transformed into symbols of renunciation and wisdom. The robe is simply rendered, falling over one shoulder in a narrow sanghati strip, with subtle modelling that hints at folds and weight without distracting from the purity of the silhouette.

Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
