Un antico Buddha in stile tailandese Dvaravati proveniente dalla Thailandia. La figura è in piedi in samabhanga ed è notevole per la sua delineazione realistica ma delicata degli arti e della veste che sembra aderire al corpo.
L'indumento (sanghati) copre la spalla sinistra. La mano destra è tesa nel vitarka mudra dell'insegnamento. La mano sinistra abbassata concede benefici nel varada mudra. Una successione molto naturalistica di pieghe ondulate sulla superficie del suo corpo che rivelano i contorni morbidi del corpo sottostante.
Il suo viso è bello con un leggero sorriso e un naso aquilino. Il Buddha ha un volto pacifico con occhi introspettivi abbassati e una fronte ferma. I suoi lobi delle orecchie sono allungati a causa della giovinezza trascorsa da principe indossando pesanti orecchini d'oro.
Il Buddha è stato montato professionalmente su una base di legno.

Once we receive your order we try to ship all orders the same or next working day.
Large and/or fragile pieces requiring palletising, specialist crating and/or extra packaging may take a little longer. Palletised shipments will be delivered curbside.
All orders over 35 GBP will be shipped free of charge.
