This handsome conch shell shaped water vessel is typical of those used in Cambodia for ritual ceremonies.
The piece consists of two separate pieces. A bronze conch shell shaped water vessel set in a conical stand supported by three hooded Nagas. The conch shell shaped water vessel would be used as a ritual water vessel in Tantric Buddhism.
