Description

This traditional reproduction of a period Burmese lacquerware box will have up to 16 coats of lacquer applied before carving can commence. Over a series of weeks each area where a specific colour is required is carved, by hand. As each colour is carved the Village Scene slowly becomes apparent. Completion of the box will take over 2 weeks.

Hand carved in traditional Burmese style and painted in historically accurate colours each box is unique.

UK DELIVERY
All prices include the cost of shipping within the UK mainland. As such no additional delivery, postage or packing costs will be displayed during the order process. For items less than 2Kg we ship using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Packages will be delivered next day by 1pm and are tracked. Packages over 2Kg are sent using Royal Mail Parcelforce and are guaranteed for delivery within 2 days of delivery.

NON-UK DELIVERY
Whilst an element of postage is included within the cost of each piece an additional surcharge will be automatically calculated during the order process for those shipments being sent outside of the UK.

EUROPE – Royal Mail (Parcelforce) or DHL Ground shipping typically takes 2-3 days for delivery.

USA – Royal Mail (Parcelforce) or DHL Ground shipping typically takes 3-6 days for delivery.

REST OF THE WORLD (ROW) – Royal Mail (Parcelforce) or DHL Ground shipping typically takes over 3 days for delivery.
