Company

Where are your Products sourced?
All of our products are sourced in Southeast Asia from the artisans that produce them. We buy direct to ensure that our long-term relationships provide a stable source of income for local artisans.

Can custom or bespoke Pieces be developed?
Yes. We offer a full custom design and development service. Once we understand your requirements our designers will translate your needs into a design that can then be created in Bronze, Wood or Stone. Production quantities can be limited dependant on your needs and requirements

How do you support local artisans?
Through our on-line presence we offer an alternate revenue source for artisans across Southeast Asia. By agreeing long-term, stable relationships with our vendors we are able to offer them a consistent revenue stream providing both a confirmed livelihood and an alternative market to those available to them locally.

Outside of the artisans we also support local communities and charities, where we work, through donations of both money and supplies to schools, hospitalities, orphanages and the like that are in desperate need of supplies. By giving back to the community we all benefit through improved living conditions and productive commercial relationships.

What is the mission of the company?
Our mission is to offer exceptional, handcrafted, museum quality pieces to Contractors, Interior Designers, Architects and Consumers. Bridging the gap between tourist souvenirs and antique showroom pieces we design, develop and deliver affordable, quality Asian art to a wide range of clients.

Alongside retailing Asian Art what additional value can you offer?
Additional value is provided in our ability to offer museum quality art ‘off the shelf’ in bronze, wood or stone or based on a clients own designs, whether that be of their imagination or an important piece that they are already familiar with.

What currency can your pieces be purchased in?
We provide prices in British Pounds, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Euros and Japanese Yen. Select your preferred currency from the drop box at the top of each page.

Products

Is your Asian Art guaranteed?
We offer a 100% guarantee that the art offered on our website will be as described on the website. Unless otherwise stated all of our pieces are contemporary reproductions or 18th and 19th century antiques. Whilst many resemble much older antiques, frequently on display in National museums, they are not original pieces in that respect.

Are your Pieces ‘antiques’?
We retail some pieces that are considered old. Typically, these come from Burma and are dated 19th and 18th century. Items such as these are clearly marked.

Our remaining inventory consists of reproduction art. Whilst some resemble 12th and 13th century museum pieces they are reproductions. However, we often find that without close expert inspection the ability to ascertain this distinction is challenging - our artisans pride themselves on making accurate reproductions of existing pieces. By producing these aged pieces they allow clients to experience the genuine beauty of ‘antique’ pieces without either the financial investment or removal of national treasures that would typically be required. We believe that historical items should be on public view for all to enjoy. We hope that our reproductions allow clients to enjoy the beauty of these pieces, within their own homes and offices without damaging a nations history.

Will any Damage on an item be noted in its description?
Yes. Any damage or ‘wear and tear’ with time will be reflected in the description of a piece. For reproduction pieces some of this ‘damage’ is intentional and applied deliberately during the development process. With those items over 50 years old we typically ‘expect’ some signs of their age. If this is a particular concern please contact us before purchase and we will endeavor to provide additional information and pictures regarding the piece.

All of our items are secured with our absolute guarantee that if you are not happy with them they can be returned within 7 days of receipt.

What payment methods do you accept?
Through the website payment can be made through Visa or Mastercard. We can also accept cheques sent to our Head Office. Please see Contact Us for our Head Office address.

Where should I send additional questions, queries or comments?
We love to receive feedback from current and potential clients. Please use the Contact Us page to send through any questions, queries or comments you might have.

Do your prices include VAT?
Yes. All of our product prices automatically include Value Added Tax (VAT).

Shipping

When will my purchase ship?
Typically, all purchases are shipped within 24 hours of order. Exceptions are larger pieces that require specialist crates or extra packaging. Orders received on weekends will be shipped on the next working day.

How much will shipping within the UK cost?
Within the UK mainland we offer FREE SHIPPING. As such no additional delivery, postage or packing costs will be displayed during the order process.

How will my item be shipped within the UK?
For items less than 2Kg we ship using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Packages will be delivered next day by 1pm and are tracked.

Packages over 2Kg are sent using Royal Mail Parcelforce and are guaranteed for delivery within 2 days of delivery.


How much will shipping outside the UK cost?
Whilst an element of postage is included within the cost of each piece an additional surcharge will be automatically calculated during the order process for those shipments being sent outside of the UK.

How will my item be shipped within Europe?
All shipments to Europe are sent with DHL. Ground shipping typically takes 2-3 days for delivery.

How will my item be shipped to the US?
All shipments to the USA are sent with DHL. Ground shipping typically takes 3-6 days for delivery.

How will my item be shipped to the Rest of the World?
All shipments to ROW are sent with DHL. Ground shipping typically takes over 3 days for delivery.

Is my shipment insured?
We pack each order with extreme care and ship each package with full insurance. Should Damage occur during shipping please follow our Returns Policy.

Will a Tracking number for my shipment be provided?
After your order has been picked up by either Royal Mail or DHL our shipping department will email you the Royal Mail or DHL tracking number to your email address to track your shipment's journey to your home.

What happens if Damage is incurred during shipment?
If a sculpture has been damaged in shipping please notify us immediately so that the proper insurance measures can be taken. Be sure to keep all of the packaging materials which will be needed for inspection by the shipping company.

Again, we take utmost care to make sure that any damage does not happen in the first place. In the event of a piece arriving damaged please follow our Returns Policy. We will pay for the return shipping and a full refund or exchange will be made.

Can you ship to forwarding addresses or Post Office boxes?
We are not able to deliver to forwarding addresses or Post Office boxes due to the risk of fraud. This is for the protection of all our customers.

Returns

Can I return any Pieces that I am unhappy with?
We hope to delight with all orders. However, if within 7 days of receiving your order, you change your mind, for whatever reason, we will be happy to offer you a full refund, credited to the original payment method. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.

How will refunds be made?
Refunds can only be requested by the Purchaser and will be made to the original payment method within 30 days of receiving the returned goods in a saleable condition and in their original, undamaged packaging.

What services can you offer Interior Designers and Contractors?
We pride ourselves in being able to offer both museum quality and unique, handcrafted pieces to Interior Designers and Contractors. We offer locally inspired designs to individuals, Projects and Corporations within the UK, Europe and Internationally.

What type of pieces do you offer?
We are able to provide both ‘home’ and ‘architectural’ pieces through either a simple retail service or full design and development service for your clients bespoke sculpture requirements. We can supply handcrafted pieces direct from our inventory or develop specific pieces to satisfy the unique needs and requirements of your client and/or Project.

Are any specialist pieces available to Interior Designers and Contractors?
For Interior Designers and Contractors we offer specialist pieces that are not available directly through the website. These are typically large, architectural pieces that can become the focal point of any design led Project.
